Description: Real Estate Appraisers give opinions of value (appraisals) for improved or unimproved real property for purchase, sale, investment, mortgage or loan purposes, and for legal processes. There are three categories of appraisers in Oregon; state licensed appraiser, state certified residential appraiser, and state certified general appraiser.

Renewal fee: $500 license fee, $80 National Registry fee total $580.

Continuing Ed Requirements: For renewal 28 hours of Oregon approved education within the two (2) year licensing cycle.
