Description: Means any family home or facility in which residential care is provided in a homelike environment for five or fewer adults who are not related to the provider by blood or marriage.

Examination Information: Provider must pass Foster Provider Examination, also an onsite inspection of home by local certifier.

Prerequisites: Must be 18 years of age or older, pass a criminal history check and pass foster home exams.
Home must meet structural and enviornmental requirements.
Must be operating home in compliance with licensing rules.
